What will you be doing?
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated MLOps Engineer with strong presales capabilities to join our team at WWT (World Wide Technology). As an MLOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our AI Proving ground initiative. Your primary responsibility will be to support the presales process by showcasing the capabilities of our AI Proving ground to potential clients and assisting them in understanding the value it can bring to their organizations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and objectives, and develop tailored solutions using the AI Proving ground.
• Develop, productionize, and deploy scalable, resilient software solutions for operationalizing AI & ML
• Build end-to-end AI & ML delivery in collaboration with Data Engineering design and build feature engineering pipelines for extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a variety of data sources for ML models.
• Facilitate the development of customers’ MLOps platform and tools strategy through a comprehensive MLOps platform discovery workshop
• Stay current on new developments in ML frameworks, data structures, data modelling, software architecture and libraries available for solution development.
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the capabilities and benefits of the AI Proving ground, highlighting its value proposition to potential clients.
• Work closely with clients to understand their specific use cases and provide guidance on how to leverage the AI Proving ground effectively.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including data scientists, engineers, and developers
• Assist in the creation of technical proposals, solution architectures, and project plans to support the presales process.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in MLOps and AI technologies and provide thought leadership to clients and internal teams.
• Act as a subject matter expert on MLOps and the AI Proving ground, providing training and support to sales teams and clients as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Experience in object-oriented programming and software architecture.
• Experience applying continuous delivery best practices, including CI/CD, Version Control, Trunk Based Development, Release Management, and Test-Driven Development using Python and SQL
• Proven experience in a presales or customer-facing role, preferably in the AI or MLOps domain.
• Experience with popular MLOps tools (Kubeflow, mlflow, Tensor Flow Extended (TFX), AzureML, Google Cloud Machine Learning Engine, Domino Data Labs, Weights and Biases, Run:ai)
• Familiarity with AI technologies, including machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing.
• A deep understanding of MLOps principles and best practices, such as model deployment automation, model monitoring and logging, and model version control
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively and propose innovative solutions.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
