Role Overview:
In pursuit of our ambitious goals, we are seeking MLOps Engineer to design, develop and implement ML services in the cloud and production. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on professional with a good understanding on ML and DevOps practices, container systems such as Docker, k8s, cloud infrastructure management and strong interpersonal skills. Good knowledge and understanding of various monitoring tools, automation, practices around GitOps, CI/CD tools is highly sought.
Responsibilities:
• Manage large training and inference clusters, indexing pipelines, Cloud Infrastructure, working closely with architects and engineers to launch GenAI and ML services end-to-end, promoting a culture of democratized MLOps and DevOps.
• Work on large-scale stateful and stateless distributed systems, Kubernetes, and a wide range of diverse services, including infrastructure, real-time messaging, data ingestion platforms, SQL and no-SQL databases, web services, orchestration services and more.
• Automate software lifecycle (SLC) processes by building and supporting software modules, scripts, deployment frameworks, tracers, monitors, and self-healing/auto-remediation tools.
• Enable ML and engineering teams to own and run their services end to end by implementing automation around common practices and workflows, including training, self-service monitoring, idea evolution, new feature development, and benchmarking for performance and feasibility.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation on deployments, processes, and standard operating procedures/runbooks.
• Explore and research new and emerging ML and AIOps technologies to address Adobe’s global needs.
This role is not suited for candidates who have worked exclusively in release engineering roles.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Exposure to container runtime environments.
• Experience in building, deploying, and managing infrastructures in public clouds (AWS, Azure) or virtualization technologies.
• Experience with running and scaling No-SQL technologies like Elastic Search, Kafka, HBase, MongoDB, Apache Spark, etc.,
• Experience in performance tuning, optimization of Linux, GPUs, or similar systems, and high-scale architecture design.
• System design and administration experience in Linux production environments. Knowledge of Linux, GPUs, Internet Protocols, and Large-Scale Operations is encouraged.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD concepts and experience with tools like Jenkins, Git, Perforce, etc.,
• Excellent programming skills (Perl, Python, Ruby, Shell, Java) and automation skills.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $135,200 — $250,900 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
