Description
The Robert Half Healthcare Practice is working with a Healthcare company to add a Medical Customer Service Representative to their team. This is a fully remote position and you are able to live anywhere in the US.
Your shift will be assigned to you upon the completion of training. It will be 8.5 hours between 8am – 6pm EST. This does include a 30 min paid lunch.

Responsibilities For The Position Include The Following
• Schedules appointments and procedures across multiple healthcare facilities.
• Communicates with patients by phone and in person, addressing questions and concerns.
• Gathers patient information and explains pre-visit procedures and instructions.
• Collaborates with medical staff to optimize scheduling efficiency.
• Manages multiple computer systems to complete tasks.
• Reviews financial information and communicates with patients and billing departments.
• Maintains effective communication with various healthcare personnel and patients.
Requirements
• Prior experience in a medical customer service role is preferred
• Proficiency in handling patient interactions with empathy and understanding
• Ability to effectively manage and respond to inbound calls in a timely manner
• Experience working in an inbound call center environment
• Knowledge of patient billing procedures and practices
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize under pressure
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity with medical terminologies and procedures
• Proficient in using computer systems for data entry and record keeping
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; further training will be a plus
• Flexibility to work in different shifts or extended hours if needed.
