Role Description/CriteriaIt is expected that the successful applicant will be:
• committed to the values and ethos of our Catholic faith
• highly motivated, committed, positive, friendly and enthusiastic
• passionate and innovative about learning and teaching
• have a sound knowledge of current best practice and the Victorian Curriculum
• have the capacity to lead staff in making adjustments for a diverse range of learning needs
• able to work as part of teams of various sizes
• self-motivated and able to work independently if necessary
• able to build maintain positive relationships with colleagues, parents and children
• committed to ongoing learning and professional development
• prepared to be active in our school community and involved in extra-curricular school activities
The successful applicant should:
• have accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school is desirable
• be committed to child safety, to maintaining best practices to ensure this and to ongoing evaluation of these practices
• have read and be committed to maintaining the standards as set out in our Child Safe Code of Conduct
• hold a current VIT registration
