Job Title: Marketing Manager

Reporting to: Director of Merchandising Apparel
Overview of Role:
A Marketing Manager in the apparel industry is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to promote and sell clothing and accessories. This role involves a combination of strategic planning, creative thinking, and effective team management.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Strategic Marketing Planning:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure marketing initiatives support overall business goals.
• Category Development:
• Oversee the development and maintenance of a strong and cohesive brand/category identity.
• Ensure consistent messaging and brand representation across all marketing channels inline with existing categories.
• Collaborate with the creative team to develop impactful marketing collateral and promotional materials.
• Digital Marketing:
• Lead digital marketing efforts, including social media, email campaigns, and online advertising.
• Analyze and optimize digital marketing performance through metrics such as click-through rates, conversion rates, and ROI.
• Stay updated on digital marketing trends and implement innovative strategies to enhance online presence.
• Content Creation and Management:
• Develop and execute content marketing strategies to engage and educate the target audience.
• Coordinate the creation of compelling and relevant content, including blog posts, videos, and social media content.
• Manage content calendars and ensure timely and consistent delivery across various platforms.
• Promotional Campaigns:
• Plan and execute promotional campaigns to drive product awareness and sales.
• Collaborate with the merchandise and sales teams to align marketing efforts with product launches and promotions.
• Monitor campaign performance and adjust strategies as needed to achieve goals.
• Analytics and Reporting:
• Utilize analytics tools to track and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
• Provide regular reports and insights to leadership on key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
• Use data to refine marketing strategies and optimize return on investment.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• Proven experience in marketing management, preferably in the promotional apparel industry.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, and content creation.
• Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
This is a US remote position. The California base annual salary/hourly range for this role is currently $80,000 to $120,000 . Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to, job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.
