As an individual contributor, this role exercises considerable judgement to make decisions for brand voice/tone/copywriting and provide recommendations to address complex communication problems.Key Duties• Translate creative brief and assignment details into engaging and clever copy that delivers on project objectives and tells stories in unique ways.• Develop high-quality, grammatically correct work at a fast pace. • Ensure all copy aligns with brand guidelines. A keen eye and top-notch proofreading skills are a must.• Write clear, concise and compelling content that engages, inspires and motivates people to take action.• Learn, uphold and drive innovation in the brand voice.• Collaborate effectively with writers, designers, marketing managers, product managers and other stakeholders to ensure projects are of the highest quality.• Exercise considerable latitude and initiative to solve complex problems.• Make decisions on process and approach in Brand Voice/Tone/Copywriting.• Influence across company and implement processes to keep voice/copy style consistent throughout all guest facing channels.• Collaborate with the team to work quickly through multiple briefs. Ensure quality and fresh, fun bold copy/storytelling.Job-Specific Experience, Education & SkillsRequired• 4 years of experience in marketing, copywriting.• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications or Marketing, or an additional two years of relevant training/experience in lieu of this degree.• A strong portfolio of work demonstrating the ability to change customer perceptions and behavior with compelling copy and storytelling.• Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills. A proven track record of presenting to and influencing management, and ability to present to all levels within the organization.• Impeccable attention to detail.• Think and act both strategically and tactically.
