Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate and oversee assembly, testing, and inspection activities of workers involved in producing assemblies and subassemblies.
• Prioritize work assignments based on urgency and employee skills.
• Provide guidance, evaluate worker performance, and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Conduct product inspections to maintain manufacturing and quality standards.
• Review operational records, work orders, and technical specifications to manage resources efficiently.
• Enter and validate employee work hours in the system.
• Demonstrate adaptability to changing tasks, and uphold professionalism and confidentiality.
• Lead and manage teams, fostering collaboration and achieving project goals.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, documenting progress and results effectively.
• Lead successful process improvement projects and mentor small groups through similar initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
• 7 to 10 years of electronics manufacturing experience.
• 1+ years in a leadership position.
• Preferred experience in contract manufacturing.
• Proficiency in continuous improvement tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot planning issues with senior management input.
• Willingness to support 24/7 global business operations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and WebEx conferencing software.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Effective multitasking, organizational, and prioritization abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of attention.
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within diverse teams.
Education
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Essential Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technical field.
• 2+ years of electronics manufacturing experience.
• 1+ years in a leadership role.
• Ability to support round-the-clock global business operations.
Desired Qualifications
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools and WebEx software.
