Primary Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic category management strategies.
Lead sourcing and RFX events, manage suppliers, and perform financial analysis.
Negotiate third-party supplier contracts and agreements in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Advise and influence business stakeholders on sourcing strategies to maximize leverage and secure favorable terms.
Drive business objectives such as revenue growth, risk mitigation, and expense management through effective supplier partnerships.
Conduct market research, spend analysis, and support supplier performance initiatives.
Foster opportunities for diverse supplier sourcing and manage supplier risk through proactive contracting efforts.
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience in Medical Supplies category management.
Proven track record in Sourcing and Procurement with expertise in end-to-end contracting and supplier negotiations.
Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Solid analytical abilities with a data-driven problem-solving approach.
Organizational and project management skills with comfort in ambiguous situations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with Ariba, PeopleSoft, or other procurement tools.
Experience in contract management, drafting, and negotiation.
Proficiency in spreadsheet modeling and analysis (Microsoft Excel).
