Our Opportunity:
Chewy is looking for a data driven Manager, Site Experience. This leader will lead site merchandising, customer journey strategies, search experience, on site conversion improvement and the content roadmap for a high priority and strategic business unit of Chewy. This analytical and customer-obsessed leader will help create a ‘best-in-class’ experience, driving seamless customer navigation and shopping experience on the site. The ideal candidate will have e-commerce experience, and will be comfortable with analyzing large data sets, provide creative feedback while working and influencing cross-functionally. This is a new business and thus the leader should be open to test and learn and take gut based decision when required.
What You’ll Do:
• Create a “best-in-class” everyday shopping experience for Chewy Canada business across categories, including promotional activations (Holiday/Cyber Events, and other large-scale promotional events).
• Prioritize the customer, thinking through the end-to-end experience for pet parents
• Identify the opportunities in the customer shopping journey where interventions need to be made and prioritize them based on impact.
• Build business cases to support product resourcing requests for high value website functionality
• Utilize web analytics and data to guide ongoing improvements and optimize site merchandising tools to drive category traffic and increase conversion
What You’ll Need:
• College degree in marketing/ other business-related field
• 8+ years work experience, with 5+ years in site merchandising
• Attention to detail.
• Experience of working and influencing creative development team.
• Data driven decision making approach.
• “Owner” mindset – you own the vision, strategy, and execution of your workstreams
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively and influence cross-functionally
• Ability to think ahead and set plans in motion for future growth
Bonus (if applicable):
• MBA
• Experience in e-commerce back-end operations and Google Analytics
• Familiarity with SQL
Compensation & Benefits:
Our salary range for a Manager, Site Merchandising position is $129,500.00 – $207,000.00. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant.

Non-exempt hourly team members accrue paid time off (PTO) while salaried-exempt team members have unlimited PTO, subject to manager approval. Non-exempt hourly team members in Fulfillment Centers and Customer Service are also eligible for additional unplanned unpaid time off (UTO). Team members will receive six paid holidays per year. Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.
