Responsibilities
PHYSICIAN RECRUITMENT MANAGER
Managing full life cycle physician recruiting with a multi-specialty administrative team resulting in the successful placement of new
physicians to support the growth of the Orlando Health Medical Group (OHMG).
• Leads a team of physician recruiters, onboarding specialists, and other recruitment support staff members.
• Supports all functions of full life cycle physician recruitment including sourcing, screening, interviewing, managing service line needs, contract discussions, and onboarding activities.
• Collaborates with various clinical and administrative teams to build partnerships and develop unique solutions to ensure continued success with placement and onboarding of new physicians.
• Maintains and utilizes the applicant tracking system to help document recruitment activity and facilitate the production of reports and dashboards to identify trends and areas for process improvement.
• Works with the Director, Physician Recruitment to develop and maintain key performance indicators as needed to support strategic growth initiatives and meet internal and external customer experience objectives.
• Assists with the creation of growth and forecasting projections for OHMG physician staffing and ensure team alignment with staffing and recruitment budgets.
• Manages various personnel functions including hiring, work assignments, coaching plans, and disciplinary actions.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products is required, including intermediate to advanced knowledge of Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Mediates disputes with internal customers to minimize need for senior management team to become involved with service resolution activities.
• Facilitates and supports the administration of various internal recruitment and retention strategies and programs (ex. referral bonus).
• Professionally represents the hospital system at recruitment events, professional conferences, and other venues.
• Maintaining relationships with external vendors including external recruitment firms, sourcing platforms, benefits administrators, realtors, travel booking platforms, and local community partners.
• Managing the payment of vendor invoices, reconciliation of expenses associated with candidate sourcing and interview travel and accommodations.
• Develops an understanding of market competitors to support continued growth.
• Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
• Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education/Training
Bachelor’s Degree is required.
Experience
• Five (5) years’ of recruitment experience required.
• One (1) year of leadership experience.
• Physician recruitment experience is preferred.
