Manager/Senior Manager, Demand Forecasting
We’re hiring a Manager to join our Demand Forecasting team within our broader Operations organization. The Demand Forecasting team is crucial to driving efficiency within the HelloFresh supply chain. This role will lead a team of analysts owning, executing, and improving forecasting tools and systems. In order to continuously improve and evolve, we work cross-functionally across all of the business from marketing to purchasing and leverage a modern tech stack to automate and improve our tools. To succeed in this role, you’ll need to have a strong sense of ownership, analytical & organizational abilities, and a keen interest in how good data, processes, and tools can drive better decision-making. You will:
• Lead a team that has ownership of several python based operationally critical forecasting tools and processes, which execute at the rhythm required by the business
• Drive strategic initiatives to enhance forecasting processes and foster continuous improvement efforts.
• Work closely with upstream and downstream stakeholders to ensure alignment on product and/or business changes for the forecast process
• Oversee tool changes regarding all inputs, outputs, and process flows that impact or are impacted by the forecast
• Seek out, evaluate and lead opportunities to improve business outcomes, efficiency, strategy, and decision-making (e.g. integration of new data sources)
• Guide, manage & schedule work for the team related to new product launches and internal capability enhancements, while still ensuring the reliability, accuracy, and scalability
• Interact cross functionally with Supply Chain teams to ensure that business processes are executed as designed and are achieving desired outcomes
• Be a thought leader in improving tools, analysis, and presentation techniques while adapting to an expanding business, and an evolving landscape of Supply Chain technology, so we can work smarter, not harder

You have:
• 4 to 7 years of relevant work experience within an analytical team
• Proven track record of successfully leading and managing analytical teams
• Undergraduate degree in fields such as Business Analytics, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Finance
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills – able to gather, organize, analyze, visualize, and present data to enable decision-making
• Proficiency with SQL in a professional environment, to quickly enable the continued ownership and refinement of existing queries and scripts, and the development of new ones
• Proficiency in spreadsheet applications, such as Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, with preference for ability to automate within spreadsheets
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Python and of data visualization software (e.g. Tableau)

$135,000—$147,000 USD
