Overview
The Manager, Investor Relations role will serve as a key member of the Insmed investor relations team, and will participate in all aspects of the planning, preparation, and execution of the company’s IR strategy, while also handling much of the logistical and administrative functions for the team. As a spokesperson responsible for communicating the company’s story externally, this position will include regular interactions with company senior management.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of the Manager, Investor Relations include the following:
• Provide accurate, consistent, and timely responses to external inquiries from investors and analysts.
• Draft quarterly earnings prep documents and participate in readying company executives for likely questions on the earnings conference call.
• Actively monitor competitor updates, regulatory developments, and the broader external environment to assess potential implications for the company and communicate those insights to relevant internal parties, including senior management as appropriate.
• Manage the company’s participation in investor conferences, including participating in the selection of company representatives who will attend, managing conference registration, purchasing webcasting services, and reviewing proposed meeting schedules, while ensuring that those executives’ support teams are kept informed throughout the process.
• Schedule and track meetings between investors/analysts and the IR team/company management.
• Own the process of compiling a robust and accurate representation of the sell-side consensus view of the company, while flagging areas where we can refine our messaging.
• Build relationships across the organization to facilitate cross-functional collaboration on key investor relations initiatives and other corporate priorities.
• This is a hybrid role. However, it will require in-person attendance at corporate headquarters in Bridgewater, NJ several times a month, on average. Some travel for investor events and conferences will also be required.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline required.
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Familiarity with the Bloomberg terminal is preferred, but not required.
• Financial competency (ability to understand and discuss Insmed’s financial statements).
• Minimum of 3+ years prior experience in pharmaceutical/biotech or life sciences industry is preferred; banking or agency experience supporting these industries will also be considered.
• Strong organizational skills with sharp attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and an ability to learn quickly.

Travel Requirements
Ability to travel both domestic and internationally, approximately 10%
Salary Range
Insmed takes into consideration a combination of candidate’s education, training, and experience as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required in the role, and external market and internal value when determining a salary level for potential new employees.
The base salary range for this job is from $111,000.00 to $156,133.00 per year
