We’re hiring for a Facilities Maintenance Technician to Live. Work. Explore. this summer!
Job Summary:
Perform routine maintenance repairs and tasks on historical buildings.
The Details:
Position Type: Seasonal
Season Dates: Early-August through Late-September 2024 (exact dates vary by location)
Pay: $16.45/hr
Schedule: Typical schedule is 40+ hours/per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities
• Perform routine maintenance repairs and tasks on historical buildings.
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems.
• Provide, with Professional Demeanor, excellent customer service to our guests and staff.
• Follow Company and departmental environmental practices, safety practices, and policies and procedures.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
• Must have general maintenance skills necessary for repairs and preservation of our historic buildings.
• Possess a keen eye for details and problem solving.
• Possess manual dexterity and physical stamina.
• Some locations within Glacier National Park may require Maintenance Associates to have a valid U.S. driver’s license and clean driving record.
Physical Requirements include:
• Must be able to walk distances over uneven terrain, climb stairs and ladders in all types of weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift and carry a maximum of 70 pounds. Frequent lifting and carrying of supplies, materials, and equipment throughout the day.
• Must be able to bend, stretch, reach, and crawl for extended periods of time.
• Working safely with required chemicals, tools, and equipment.
