Spherion Staffing has partnered with a local manufacturing facility who is seeking a skilled and experience Maintenance Technician with a strong background in electrical systems.

Day Shift Schedule
On-Call for Overtime
Responsibilities:
– Diagnose and repair electrical issues in machinery, equipment, and facility systems.
– Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical wiring, circuits, and equipment.
– Ensure all electrical work complies with local and national electrical codes.
– Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on PVC extrusion and injection molding machines.
– Adjust and calibrate machinery to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
– Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues related to extrusion and molding processes.
– Conduct general carpentry work, including framing, finishing, and installation of fixtures.
– Perform welding tasks, including MIG, TIG, and arc welding, for equipment and facility repairs.
– Fabricate and repair metal structures and components as needed.
– Safely operate a variety of hand and power tools, including drills, saws, grinders, and more.
– Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and ensure proper storage.
– Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on all facility equipment.
– Maintain accurate maintenance records, including work orders, parts inventory, and maintenance schedules.
– Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment and machinery.
– Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, ensuring a safe working environment.
– Participate in safety training and contribute to a culture of safety within the team.
– Comply with company policies and procedures, including environmental and quality standards.
Working hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Skills:
– Experience with power and hand tools
– Comfortable working in various environmental conditions, including heat and noise
– Strong carpentry and welding skills
– Prior manufacturing environment experience

Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred.
– Proven experience as a maintenance technician, with a focus on electrical systems.
