Position Overview
As a Materials Manager at Zunch Staffing, you will play a crucial role in directing and overseeing operational functions such as Planning, Receiving, Warehousing, Shipping, Customer Service, and Trucking operations. Your responsibilities include coordinating with the management team to achieve company objectives, streamline materials planning, control inventory, maintain efficient shipping and receiving processes, and lead a team to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Materials Management
• Proficiency in Material Requirements Planning (MRP), inventory control, shipping, and receiving
• Experience with systems like JDE, AS400, Stratum, Manugistics, or JJ Keller
• Advanced skills in MS Excel and problem-solving methodologies
• Competencies:
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Team-oriented and safety-conscious
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
• Familiarity with the plumbing industry and consumer products
