About The Position
A hospital is seeking an OB/GYN nurse practitioner for locum tenens coverage.
Northern Kentucky offers attractions from bars and nightlife and family fun to beautiful parks and gardens!
Additional certifications required for the position include BLS, ACLS, DEA, NRP, and ATLS. A Kentucky license or a compact license in hand is preferred for faster onboarding. The role involves office coverage for three full days per week from 8:30 AM to 5 PM, as well as one weekday 24-hour call shift every 6 to 8 days, which may include operating room work. Clinicians will also be responsible for one 48-hour weekend call every 6 to 8 weekends. During on-call shifts, the clinician will manage labor and delivery after triage by the OB Hospitalist, cover unassigned patients through the emergency department, and scrub into surgical cases as needed.
