Our client, an Award winning, plaintiff’s law firm is currently seeking a Senior and Mid-Level Litigation Paralegal in their Philadelphia Office to provide comprehensive support to several Partners and Associates.
JOB DESCRIPTION: •Must have experience cite checking, blue booking, doing legal research and shepardizing. Court experienced needed for more senior level position and no courtroom experience needed for mid-level paralegals. Mass Tort experience needed. Hours are 9am -6pm and could be OT and some travel.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: • Ability to make informed, independent decisions on a daily basis, addressing the best way to handle specific tasks. • Must possess the ability to communicate and collaborate with other administrators and executives to ensure tasks are understood and correctly prioritized. • Great organizational skills and ability to prioritize to help ensure deadlines are met. • Ability to write professionally, using proper spelling and grammar. • 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience is a must, in a professional services organization such as accountants, law firms, insurance, and/or financial institutions. • Bachelor’s degree preferred; HS Diploma required. • Proficient use of MS Office Suite, Adobe Pro, and Document Management Software, • Perform complex mark-ups in MS Word (revise, format, style, tables, charts, etc.) • Proficient use of Excel and PowerPoint (spreadsheets, formulas, presentations) Salary DOE, $65K – $100K+.
