MG+M The Law Firm (MG+M) is currently seeking two experienced litigation paralegals to join our asbestos practice group in any of our California office locations: Irvine, Los Angeles, San Francisco, or Walnut Creek.

The firm’s expertise includes products liability cases, toxic tort matters, commercial litigation, general liability, and transportation law. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
• Manage multiple complex litigation matters simultaneously.
• Monitor case filings and provide detailed assessments to attorneys.
• Draft and prepare initial drafts of various pre-trial motions, dispositive motions, and other pleadings.
• Review and evaluate discovery documents including medical records, sales documents, employment records, and other case material.
• Compose case assessments and evaluations for review by associates and partners.
• Contemporaneous accounting and submission of personal billable time.
Candidate Requirements
• 3+ years’ experience in asbestos litigation is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Proficient interpersonal skills including effective communication with both attorneys and other paralegals to accomplish goals.
• The ability to both work both independently and as part of a larger team.
• Effective problem solving capabilities.
• Preference to mid-level candidates with experience using legal systems such as Westlaw, File & Serve Xpress, PACER.
