Litigation law firm focusing on general litigation (commercial, equity/chancery, business and personal injury) is hiring a Litigation Associate. This law firm has a strong presence in both NJ and NY.
Seeking candidates with 2-5 years experience with excellent writing, research and advocacy skills.
This role is 5 days onsite.
Responsibilities
• Conduct legal research and analysis on various litigation matters.
• Draft legal documents including motions, pleadings, briefs, and memoranda.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and other legal proceedings.
• Collaborate with partners and colleagues to develop case strategies and approaches.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
Qualifications
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New Jersey or New York State Bar (or ability to waive in).
• 2-5 years of experience in litigation.
• Strong writing, research, and analytical skills.
