Our client is seeking a seasoned Lead Software Delivery Engineer to play a pivotal role in transforming their software delivery landscape. This position requires a proven professional with extensive experience in enterprise software delivery platforms and a strong track record of implementing effective pipeline strategies and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
Responsibilities:
• Drive Software Delivery Innovation: Shape the future of software delivery by leveraging expertise in enterprise platforms
• Implement Robust Pipelines and IaC: Streamline processes and improve efficiency through effective pipeline strategies and Infrastructure as Code
• Advance Cloud and Container Technologies: Apply skills in AWS, ECS, EKS, and container development to enhance software delivery mechanisms
• Foster Developer Excellence: Cultivate an environment that prioritizes improving developer practices and experiences
• Collaborate in a Dynamic Team: Work within a small but skilled team with a diverse range of expertise from infrastructure to application development and automation
Requirements:
• Proven experience with enterprise software delivery platforms and implementation of pipeline and IaC strategies
• Mastery of coding languages such as Groovy, Python, Java, Rego, and others
• Expert-level knowledge of Terraform, Helm, Packer, and shell scripting
• Experience in automation and API development
• Expertise in AWS Services and container platforms like Docker, containerd, ECS, and EKS, with a strong understanding of container development and deployment best practices
• Experience with open-source container projects and various Linux distributions
• Solid understanding of container security, peripherals, observability, and management tools and techniques
• A deep understanding of developer practices and a passion for improving the developer experience
• Solid understanding of networking concepts
Compensation: $130,000-$180,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
