Responsibilities Of The Lead Mechanic
• Review Daily Vehicle Inspection Reports and address identified issues
• Coordinate and perform preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles
• Diagnose vehicle problems, procure parts, and conduct repairs efficiently
• Conduct post-repair road tests and document all maintenance activities
• Mentor apprentices and uphold high standards of vehicle repair
• Maintain workshop equipment and tools

Requirements For Automotive Technician / Diesel Mechanic
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
• 3+ years of experience in automotive repair and/or diesel mechanics
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• ASE certifications, especially in A/C and HVAC systems (preferred)
• Class A or B CDL license with “P” endorsement (preferred)
• Successful completion of background check and drug screening
