Lead Data Science Strategist Fulltime

Job Requirements

Highly experienced Team Lead Data Science Strategist with a strong background in Python and SQL Natural Language Processing NLP experience is a plus

This role combines technical leadership strategic thinking and handson expertise to drive innovative data science solutions The successful candidate will lead a team of data scientists engage with stakeholders at all levels and design strategies to leverage data insights for business growth

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership Road mapping

Define and implement the data science strategy ensuring alignment with business objectives

Lead strategic initiatives around data science AI and machine learning

Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify opportunities where data science can provide business value

Develop roadmaps and timelines for data science initiatives ensuring alignment with broader business goals

Keep up to date with the latest developments in data science to propose new projects and solutions

Team Leadership Development

Lead and mentor a team of data scientists and data engineers fostering a collaborative and innovative environment

Provide technical guidance and direction to the team in areas such as machine learning data modeling and NLP

Drive continuous learning within the team encouraging best practices in coding data analysis and problemsolving

Technical Expertise Hands On Work

Design develop and deploy data science solutions using Python SQL

Implement machine learning algorithms for predictive modeling classification clustering and sentiment analysis

Optimize SQL queries for largescale data processing and integration with machine learning models

Collaborate with data engineers to build robust data pipelines and ensure data quality and availability

Project Management Execution

Oversee the entire lifecycle of data science projects from ideation through deployment and monitoring

Manage project timelines resources and deliverables ensuring the successful completion of initiatives

Ensure all models and solutions are thoroughly tested validated and optimized for performance in production environments

Continuously improve model accuracy efficiency and scalability by applying best practices and leveraging new technologies

Experience

Key Qualifications

12 years of experience in data science machine learning and AI with at least 3 years in a leadership or team lead role

Experience in designing and deploying NLP solutions in real world applications is a plus

Deep hands on experience with Python SQL and libraries frameworks related to data science eg pandas NumPy scikitlearn TensorFlow PyTorch

Technical Expertise

Expert level proficiency in Python for data analysis machine learning

Strong SQL skills for data extraction transformation and processing from large databases

Familiarity with cloud platforms AWS GCP or Azure and experience deploying models in production environments

Experience with MLOps and version control tools Git Docker etc is a plus

Leadership Communication

Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to mentor and guide teams

Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical topics to both technical and nontechnical audiences

Demonstrated experience in collaborating with cross -functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations

Project Management

Experience in managing and delivering multiple data science projects simultaneously

Ability to set priorities manage resources and deliver results under tight deadlines

Preferred Skills

Degree in Data Science Computer Science Statistics Mathematics or a related field

Familiarity with big data tools Spark Hadoop and distributed computing

Knowledge of visualization tools like Tableau Power BI or matplotlib for reporting insights
