QA Lab Technician – Entry Level! No degree required with relevant experience.
Job Description
The QA Technician will support the quality and operational teams in the sugar processing operation. In this role, you will perform laboratory analysis and monitor the operation while maintaining accurate documentation in accordance with the Quality and Food Safety systems in a GFSI certified facility.
Hard Skills
• Perform routine analysis on raw materials, in-process, and final products
• Conduct product release procedures and generate Certificates of Analysis
• Perform calibration of lab equipment
• Perform plant-wide monitoring activities
• Maintain proper documentation in all formats of record keeping
• Report concise and professional communication in all forms (verbal, written, and electronically)

Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Environment
This position requires climbing stairs or ladders, working at heights, lifting, operating test equipment, sitting, finger dexterity for data entry, speaking, hearing, visual acuity, and mobility between departments. Work may require bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, and crouching. The work is primarily indoors, with some outdoor tasks. The noise level is medium/loud, with exposure to sugar dust, steam, heat, uneven surfaces, high humidity, slippery floors, cold, and physical and mechanical hazards.
