As a Data Scientist at Masco, you will have the unique opportunity to oversee, develop, and implement data and analytics strategies for the Masco Enterprise. This role will allow you to work closely with Masco HQ departments and business units, serving as a strategic partner to support new insights and reveal opportunities.
Responsibilities:
• Work as a strategic partner with Masco HQ departments and business units to support new insights and reveal opportunities.
• Establish and oversee data strategy and analytics offerings, process, and procedures within the organization.
• Build out capabilities in data reporting, analytics, data governance, data analysis, data quality, and metric dashboards within the organization.
• Train and educate staff at all levels of skill and expertise on how to best leverage tools.
• Foster connections with colleagues within the company to enhance the growth of the data and analytics field.
• Interact with individuals and teams throughout the Masco Enterprise.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience, and Abilities Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, system analysis, or a related study, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of five years of experience in Data and Analytics/Business Intelligence architecture.
• Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments.
• Good understanding of strategic and new and emerging technology trends, and the practical application of existing technology.
