Accent Decor is looking for talented Inventory Specialist.
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
• Inventory Management – Maintain accurate inventory records through regular auditing of storage, and work locations throughout the facility.
• Cycle Counting – count inventory to verify accuracy and identify any discrepancies frequently throughout the shift.
• Quality Assurance – conduct quality inspections of products to ensure all products meet company standards.
• Reporting – generate and break down inventory reports, identifying any trends that may require attention, and making adjustments based on report identifiers i.e. Relocating high volume stock to more efficient pick locations for better accessibility.
• Collaborate with other areas and departments consistently throughout the shift to resolve any issues in a timely manner.
• Continuously check inventory locations to ensure stock levels are sufficient for the fulfillment of all customer orders at any given time. This may include physically replenishing storage/pick locations to ensure adequate stock levels.
• Identify breakdowns or issues and make recommendations to improve or eliminate said issues to the reporting manager.
• Perform all work safely, and in compliance with OSHA, and company regulations and policies. This includes reporting all safety concerns.

Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 1-2 years of related experience working in similar industry; additional education may be substituted for years of work experience
• Forklift certification and applicable state certification preferred
• Must be able to operate power industrial truck (PIT) and be comfortable elevating to higher storage locations without fear of heights.
• Comfortable working at a 30ft height level
• Work both independently and within a team environment.
• Proficiently communicate (directly and email) with teammates, other departments and leadership.
• Must be detail oriented and organized.
• Must be proficient with warehouse management systems
• Must be proficient with various software types such as, MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
