Responsibilities:
The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing the inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all inventory processes. This role involves maintaining precise records, coordinating with various departments, and implementing best practices for inventory management to support the overall operations of the warehouse.

• Inventory Monitoring and Record Maintenance. Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using the warehouse management system (WMS). Conduct regular cycle counts and full inventory audits. Reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and inventory records.
• Coordination with Procurement and Logistics. Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for timely and accurate stock replenishment. Oversee receiving and dispatching processes to ensure correct storage and accounting of products.
• Inventory Control and Procedure Implementation. Implement and enforce inventory control procedures to minimize stock loss and damage. Optimize storage space and improve inventory flow in coordination with the warehouse manager.
• Reporting and Analysis. Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify trends and areas for improvement. Provide insights and recommendations based on inventory data analysis.
• Training and Supervision. Train and supervise warehouse staff on inventory control procedures and best practices. Ensure staff adherence to established inventory processes.
• Health and Safety Compliance. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the warehouse. Conduct safety inspections and address potential hazards.
• Equipment Maintenance: Assist in the maintenance and calibration of inventory-related equipment and tools. Report any equipment malfunctions to the maintenance team.
• Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the warehouse manager and other departments as needed. Assist with the preparation of documentation for audits and compliance checks.
• Inventory System Updates: Assist in updating and upgrading the warehouse management system (WMS) as needed. Participate in system training sessions and provide feedback on system improvements.
• Special Projects: Participate in special projects or initiatives aimed at improving warehouse operations. Support cross-functional teams on projects related to inventory management and optimization.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or related field preferred.
• Previous manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
• 1-3 years’ experience in an aligned function for the responsibilities of this position or equivalent expected; 3-5+ years of experience preferred.
• Proven experience as an inventory coordinator or similar role in a warehouse setting.
• Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Forklift certification is a plus, required after 60 days.
• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using the warehouse management system (WMS).
