Join us in our quest to streamline our financial processes as a Permanent Intercompany Accountant. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you will play a crucial role in the management of intercompany transactions and accounts. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a knack for problem-solving and a passion for finance.
Responsibilities
As a Permanent Intercompany Accountant, you will be responsible for
• Managing and overseeing all intercompany transactions and processes, including preparing, posting, validating, and reconciling all intercompany transactions.
• Ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of intercompany accounts.
• Coordinating with other departments and subsidiaries to ensure alignment and compliance with group policies and procedures.
• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual intercompany reports and analyses for management.
• Assisting in the development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department.
• Participating in cross-functional projects and supporting other finance teams when necessary.
• Identifying and resolving any discrepancies or issues related to intercompany accounts.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Providing support for internal and external audits related to intercompany transactions.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need
• A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in intercompany accounting or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
• Proficiency in relevant accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members at all levels.
• The ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive approach, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
• Certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is preferred but not required.
