The Instrument and Environmental Compliance Analyst is responsible for performing compliance evaluations on Hach’s instruments, including instruments in development/research as well as instruments in production, to ensure Hach products comply with global product regulations. This person stays current on product compliance regulations and helps implement changes to compliance evaluations as needed.
This position is part of the Tactical Compliance Team located in Loveland, CO and will be onsite with the option to work remotely on Fridays!
The essential requirements of the job include:
• Assist in the preparation of environmental compliance plans (RoHS, REACH, SCIP, TSCA, etc.), reports, and regulatory submissions. Stays current on product compliance regulations and helps ensure product compliance. Collaborates on changes to environmental standards and regulations and impacts to product compliance processes.
• Follow environmental regulations, as determined by the Product Environmental Compliance Manager, write compliance related procedures and manage documentation.
• Submit and maintain all documentation in centralized compliance system including compliance documentation and certifications.
• Review and approve manufacturer part declarations, RoHS CoCs and product deviations.
• Assist with Compliance Engineering Change Order (ECO) process and documentation. Research and review ECOs for impact on product compliance.
• Responsible for tracking compliance deadlines and transmittal of required reports.
• Work closely with engineering and NPIC teams to ensure that instruments and products are Compliant. Audits processes and documentation to ensure compliance.
• Assist Product Environmental Compliance Manager on larger and more complex projects.
Are you Qualified?
• B.S. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a product compliance role.
• Ability to read and interpret complex documents such as regulations and standards.
• Ability to work in a team setting and independently, prioritize work and meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to collaborate with a team.
• Ability to contribute to brainstorming constructively

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $55,000.00 – $75,000.00 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
