What you will do:
• Handle phone-in customers with pleasant and courteous etiquette.
• Utilize product and technical knowledge to assist customer with product selection.
• Provide customer with written quotation which includes terms, and delivery method.
• Prepare customer sale order and confirm payment terms/method.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to customer.
• Resolve order issues by collaborating with external vendors and internal departments.
• Reach monthly goals in sales and gross margin.
• Encourage the use of digital tools across customer base.
• Multi-task and continually prioritize tasks to be completed throughout the day.
What you will bring:
• Sales experience and/or electrical knowledge preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and inter-personal communication skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate information and present solutions to a customer.
• Ability to speak, read, and write proficiently in English.
• Strong mathematics, verbal, and written communication skills.
• The ability to operate computers and relevant computer software.
• Ability to prioritize needs in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
• The ability to sit for much of the assigned shift while using phones, and computers.
• The ability to walk between work area, counter, and warehouse throughout the day.
• The ability to lift, push, and pull material and objects weighing up to 50 lbs. and heavier weights with proper equipment.
• The ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb to perform various duties.
• This job is preformed primarily in light industrial and office environments.
Salary Range: $25 – $28/hr
Location: Elmsford, NY
Work Hours: Mon – Fri, 8a – 5pm
