Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate In Home Caregiver to provide exceptional care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes. This role is perfect for individuals who value the importance of patient care, have a strong sense of responsibility, and are committed to making a positive impact in the lives of others. Responsibilities: – Provide personal care services to patients in their homes, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. – Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and cleaning up after meals. – Assist with medication management, including administration and monitoring. – Help with mobility and transfers, including walking, standing, and lifting patients. – Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry and tidying up. – Maintain a safe and clean environment, including taking out the trash and recycling. – Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, including engaging in conversation, watching TV, and playing games. – Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the highest level of care possible. – Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner. – Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality. Requirements: – Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in home care or hospice care. – Knowledge of personal care procedures and medication management. – Ability to lift and transfer patients safely and efficiently. – Strong communication and interpersonal skills. – Ability to work independently and as part of a team. – High school diploma or equivalent required. – Ability to pass a background check and maintain a valid driver’s license. Skills: – Experience working in a hospital setting, preferably in a level II trauma center or teaching hospital. – Knowledge of hospital medicine and the ability to assist with inpatient care. – Familiarity with operating room procedures and the ability to assist with patient care in the OR. – Experience working in a clinic setting and the ability to assist with outpatient care. – Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize patient care.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 – $19.00 per hour
