The Immigration Associate will have the opportunity to support CDW’s global mobility and immigration program. Under the supervision of the Global Mobility & Immigration Manager, this individual will provide support services to assist with the coordination of immigration and mobility projects and processes. Maintain compliance with immigration regulations and partner with outside counsel to facilitate cases. Work closely and partner with Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners, Legal, and other key stakeholders.
Key Areas of Responsibility
• Create Public Access Files ensuring compliance with US Department of Labor regulations.
• Serve as point-of-contact and coordinator for US outbound business visa requests.
• Analyze immigration data and develop reports of immigration activity and expenses.
• Monitor the CDW immigration mailbox to complete assigned action items.
• Coordinate the initiation of permanent residence cases with outside counsel.
• Review and approve vendor invoices.
• Post LCA notices and coordinate PERM and related postings with internal stakeholders.
• Setup and maintain electronic immigration case files.
• File heavy volume of immigration notices and support documentation.
• Coordinate and finalize US visa support letters and track international travel.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience Qualifications
• A bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies, HR, or related field OR
• 4 years of immigration, administrative, or HR support experience in a corporate environment
• Must be proficient with Excel Worksheets, Pivot Tables, Charts, and VLOOKUP
Required Qualifications
• General knowledge and understanding of employment-based US immigration.
• Ability to work efficiently with a sense of urgency and attention to detail.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all stakeholders, including senior leadership.
• Ability to balance competing priorities with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business while meeting deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively relay immigration information to educate stakeholders on unfamiliar immigration topics.
• History of working independently with little direction.
• Strong creative problem-solving skills and resourcefulness.
• Highly organized with an ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
• Must have a drive for providing exceptional coworker support
