A health services organization in Westchester County is looking to add a new Healthcare Performance Engineer Project Manager to their growing team. In this role, the Healthcare Performance Engineer will be responsible for performing the critical skillset of strategic leadership and planning, tactical leadership, system/process development, training and development and change leadership for Supply Chain and Procurement.
• **This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work onsite at least 2 days a week.***
Responsibilities:
The Healthcare Performance Engineer Project Manager will:
• Work on process analysis, time/cost studies, process simulation, process and quality improvement, financial and organizational planning and information system design
• Provide statistical reports and analysis for all standards
• Provide and organize process improvement services to stakeholders, as requested
• Analyze and define a frame for ambiguous problem statements
• Draft a project charter
• Plan, initiate, and oversee the execution of all elements of the project
• Define data insights required for improved decision making across Supply Chain and Procurement
• Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial or Systems Engineering or a related field with a focus on Management Engineering, Information Technology, Healthcare and or Operations
• Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Project
• Basic analytical skills and data processing in Excel
Desired Skills:
• Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration or Public Health
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
• Credentialed Project Management Professional (PMP) or in progress.
