WHAT YOU’LL DO
The Global Career Development team is dedicated to fulfilling BCG’s commitment to accelerated personal development of our increasingly diverse talent pool, which sits at the heart of our Employee Value Proposition (EVP).
This role will be critical in the advancement of our Global CD strategic priorities and requires an individual with a range of skills across project management, change management and influencing, communications and project and people leadership. As technology is a key enabler for the roll-out and implementation of our key initiatives, we are looking for someone who is passionate about digital products.
The Global Career Development Senior Change and Communications Manager brings Change Management knowledge and expertise and experience collaborating with different stakeholders, other change managers, as well as product delivery teams.
You will report to the Global CD Senior Director, working with fellow local CD/ Talent colleagues and partner with our Global and Regional CD teams, broader global functions (e.g., IT, Finance, etc.), Specialty Businesses and Consulting staff worldwide.
Basic job responsibilities include
As CD system and functional change manager and thought partner
• At BCG, a new global digital CD platform will allow the implementation of CD processes, and you will oversee:
• Change agenda to drive usage and adoption of best practices
• Training & enablement curriculum to ensure our CD/ Talent teams and consultants can fully leverage it
• Change KPIs and metrics to track adoption and usage
• Facilitate best practice sharing of the platform use and CD processes across different systems
• Work closely with regional and local CD/ Talent teams as a thought partner on devising and delivering functional process changes
• Collaborate with regional and local CD/ Talent teams on driving change management initiatives and activities to facilitate roll-out and ensure adoption of these functional process changes across systems and businesses
As thought partner and collaborator to our CD technology squads
• Ensure that the Change Management team works closely with Product Owners to:
• Build and prioritize roadmap and support with requirements refinement, providing the end user perspective
• Identify change impacts and risks to end users of tool changes, including integrations with other systems, and advise on necessary mitigation steps

• Immersing yourself in the functionality of the tool, focusing on what it’s supposed to achieve
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with an exemplary attention to detail and accuracy
• Working with a virtual team spread-out across time zones
• Managing and developing a team
• Exhibiting the highest level of integrity and ability to manage and process sensitive data
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
• You have at least a bachelor’s degree and preferably an advanced degree
• You will bring a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a professional services organization and/or heavily matrixed organization.
• You can work autonomously, independently, with only broad direction and you are very proactive
• Preferably, you have relevant background in CD/ Talent teams or consulting, with experience in team and project management
• You feel comfortable working in a virtual environment and with a geographically distributed team
• Excellent verbal and written communication (Fluency in English writing and speaking)
• Excellent MS PowerPoint, Excel
• Experience operating in an Agile model is a plus
• Internal BCG candidate preferred due to existing knowledge of the culture and business landscape
YOU’LL WORK WITH
This role is part of the Global CD Team and works closely with Global, Regional, and local CD/ Talent teams across BCG as well as with other inter-linked functions and across all levels of the organization.
