Aptive is seeking high-performing graduate students for the Federal Management Consulting Internship Program (Business Development/Human Experience). The ideal candidate is a self-starter with proven critical thinking, communication, client relationship, and writing skills, eager to learn about federal consulting and federal agencies. You will support writing for high-level clients, research, data analysis, knowledge management, and other functions in this role.
The day-to-day work will include developing presentations, performing research and analysis, responding to client requests, providing client meeting support, and more. Excellent communication and time management skills, proficiency with MS Office Suite, and the flexibility to work both independently and within a team environment will be critical to this role’s success.
Other Information:
• Work may be virtual, but it is preferred that candidates can work in the DCMetro area.
• Anticipated time commitment is at least 20 hours per week.
• Interns will be compensated commensurate with experience.
Primary Responsibilities
• Develop advanced knowledge of corporate data sources and systems and become adept at quickly extracting and analyzing data from these sources.
• Prepare for solicitations by conducting pre-RFP research and planning activities.
• Pipeline and customer engagement data analysis at the Operations level, driving process improvement and data integrity across the Strategic Engagement portfolio.
• The analyst works independently and as part of a team to direct and achieve day-to-day and strategic objectives with significant and high visibility impact on Client Development operations.
• Support requirements gathering, data collection and analysis; and manage corporate information in support of business units across the company.
• Analyze solicitation documents upon RFP release to determine pursuit.
• Coordinate Data Calls to subcontractors and other teammates.
Minimum Qualifications
• To qualify for the Federal Management Consulting internship Program, the candidate must be currently enrolled and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Business Administration or a related field at an accredited college or university while participating in the internship.
