Location: Cerritos, CA (On Site) | Type: Full Time | Pay Rate: $28.00/hour
The CAR Group (Norm Reeves), a nationally recognized automotive group, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Facilities Assistant to support our automotive dealerships and facilities operations. This full-time role is based out of our Cerritos, CA location and will report directly to the Facilities Operations Manager.
What You’ll Do
• Assist with day-to-day facilities operations, ensuring dealerships and facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
• Coordinate routine maintenance and repairs of building systems (HVAC, lighting, plumbing, etc.).
• Oversee vendor scheduling and service coordination for janitorial, landscaping, and other facility services.
• Support the setup, organization, and breakdown of events at dealership locations.
• Manage inventory and order supplies for maintenance.
• Respond to urgent facility-related issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain communication with dealership teams to ensure all facility requests are resolved efficiently.
• Assist in maintaining a facility database of service requests, projects, and vendor management.
• Assist with the processing of vendor payments
• Perform other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need
• Previous experience in facilities, maintenance, or a similar role preferred.
• Basic understanding of building systems and general maintenance.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-up.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Comfortable using technology and facilities management systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel between dealership locations as needed.
