VCA Waipahu Animal Hospital Team located in Honolulu, Hawaii is looking for an unlicensed Veterinary Assistant/Technician to join their 4-doctor general practice.
We need an Experienced Veterinary Assistant (minimum 2 years) to provide excellent patient care with a focus on wellness and client education. We are willing to train the right person. Veterinary Assistants are responsible for preparing exam rooms for the doctors and assisting in providing care for the patients hospitalized in the treatment area.
Schedule: Full-time opportunity. 4/10’s with weekend availability.
Compensation: Starting at $18 / hour. Pay dependent on experience.

• Restraining and assisting in patient exams and routine procedures.

• Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging.
• Providing compassionate care for our hospitalized animals.
• Maintaining medical records.
• Assisting our wonderful Doctor and Technician staff as needed.
• Maintaining a clean, safe hospital environment.
