Duties
• You will assure proper program administration of the discrimination complaints process based on governing laws, regulations, policies and procedures.
• You will facilitate the timely and impartial submission of complaints and actions to meet deadlines and milestones.
• You will research the applicability of numerous regulations and policies to address unique situations that may be unprecedented.
• You will review informal and formal discrimination, harassment, and other complaints and confers with all levels of the command and management to resolve complaints at the lowest appropriate level.
• You will independently identify and describe systemic problems in addition to individual situations and provide guidance on the use of formal and informal channels.
• You will provide updates and briefings to command leadership on the status of complaints and their roles and responsibilities depending on the path(s) chosen by the complainant and associated parties.
• You will update databases and submit reports as required by regulations, policies, and higher authorities.
• You will coordinate and collaborate with military representatives, command units, and civilian personnel specialists to perform evaluations and collect employee hiring and retention metrics.
• You will identify equal employment opportunity problems and develop feasible action plans to solve complex problems and advises managers/supervisors on appropriate courses of action.
• You will explain and defend project results and justify recommendations and findings with data-driven information, including correlations and causations, and observed practices.

• You must successfully complete a Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph with No Deception Indicated (NDI).
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• You will be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport.
Qualifications
Applicant must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies or knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Qualifying experience would be demonstrated by:
• Experience utilizing specialized databases and reporting systems to submit, track, manage, report, and document equal employment opportunity complaints and investigations.
• Experience interpreting EEO laws, regulations, Executive Orders and court decisions to provide analyze and address difficult and complex EEO complaints.
• Experience developing policies, procedures, and tools that address barriers to equal employment opportunity in personnel practices.
• Experience performing discrimination complaint trend analysis to identify workforce issues and brief leaders on findings.

Permanent and term employees currently serving in a probationary period in the competitive service or a probationary or trial period in the excepted service will complete the period as prescribed in their original conditions of employment in the new CES position if they transfer without a break in service or are promoted, demoted, or reassigned to a CES position.
