The ideal candidate will possess 1-3 years of diversified transactional tax experience, including work in partnership, real estate, and/or corporate tax matters. While experience at an Am Law 200 firm is preferred, strong academic credentials, along with excellent writing, interpersonal, and communication skills, are essential. An LL.M. in Taxation is beneficial but not required. Admission to the State Bar of California is required.Duties and Responsibilities:Assist with a variety of transactional tax matters, including partnership, real estate, and corporate tax issues.Conduct legal research and draft tax-related memoranda, opinions, and other documents.Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients on tax planning and compliance strategies.Review, analyze, and negotiate tax-related agreements, contracts, and other documents.Provide support in client communications and tax transaction negotiations.Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations to provide accurate advice.Requirements:1-3 years of diversified transactional tax experience.Experience in partnership, real estate, and/or corporate tax work.Am Law 200 law firm experience is preferred.Demonstrated high level of academic achievement.LL.M. in Taxation is helpful but not required.Admission to the State Bar of California.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Strong academic performance, especially in tax law coursework.Certifications:Admission to the State Bar of California.Skills:Excellent writing, interpersonal, and communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in drafting and reviewing tax-related documents.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
