Description:
This person will be doing support work, hanging wire, installing pathways. All of the work will be in-doors and externally to the data center environment. Main daily job duties will include: Cable installing, cable dressing, labeling, material management for cable installing (copper and fiber). Terminate Jacks and RJ45s.
They will be working on their feet lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds like ladders At times, they may be required to work in tight, confided spaces.
Skills:
Cat5, Cat6, cable dressing, termination testing, patch panels, Structured cabling, Cabling, fiber optic cable, fiber optic cabling, rack and stack
Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Need to have min of 1+ years of experience of cabling experience
Active OSHA 10 Certification
Demonstrate on-time attendance consistently.
Other duties may consist of:
• Installation of structured cabling systems including all aspects of the installation process: OSP, ISP, Rack, Stack, Patch, Fusion Splicing, Testing
• Reads and interprets all floor plans, drawings, specifications, and cut sheets
• Properly sets up a variety of copper and fiber testers
• Performs system testing and troubleshooting as required
• Terminates, labels, tests and troubleshoots optical fiber and copper
