Position SummaryThe Electronic Technician is responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing of electronics oncompany equipment, using a multimeter and other tools.Job Duties and Key Responsibilities? Troubleshoot and repair of electronic systems on all company equipment with little to no supervision.? Troubleshoot and install network equipment with supervision.? Ability to read and interpret electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics.? Knowledge of software and adapters used to program, calibrate and troubleshoot electronic sensors and equipment.? Perform instrumentation PMs and maintain accurate records for equipment.? Assist in training of field personnel on troubleshooting and operating control systems.? Assist shop personnel in installation and troubleshooting of electronics on company equipment.? Build and repair cables as needed.Required Skills and Abilities? Proficient in safe operating procedures, quality testing, and equipment maintenance.? Computer literacy and proficiency in Windows operating systems.? Demonstrated knowledge of 12-24 VDC and 120 VAC power systems.? Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and certifications.? Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.? Ability to multitask and work under varying degrees of pressure.? Ability to travel 85+% of time.Minimum Education and Experience? Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Oil & Gas or related industry, with a strong background in electronics.Physical Requirements? Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions? Bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds? Driving for extended periods? Wearing appropriate PPE (respirator, hearing protection, eye protection, hard hat, etc.)
