Summary Objective
Electrical CAD Engineer would need to have the understanding and ability to design electrical control panels and instrumentation equipment.
Essential Functions
• Ability to design electrical controls from written specifications
• Ability to design controls based off of quoted scope of supply for the projects
• Assemble and provide submittal packages with all proper drawings and documentation to submit to customers
• Assemble and provide Operations and Maintenance manual’s for equipment to submit to customers
• Support manufacturing team by providing answers to technical questions.
Competencies
• Knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical (must pass Electrical CAD assessment)
• Self-manage workflow for on-time project completion
• Ability to multi-task across multiple projects
• Supportive team player
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional casual office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and copiers.

The employee will be required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time hourly position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 40-hour work week with the potential of some paid overtime. This is not a remote position.
Travel
No travel is expected for this position.
Required Education and Experience
High School with relevant experience.
Preferred Education and Experience
Post-secondary education is preferred but not required.
Pay Details: $25.00 to $35.00 per hour
