Summary:
The ED Technician, working under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse and medical director, is responsible for providing direct patient care and performing duties to assure an optimal patient experience in the emergency department. The supervising medical director is one associated with the practice setting where the EMS personnel will function. The quality of care and service given will adhere to the standards set forth by the hospital. The ED Technician also performs clerical duties and receptionist duties.
