People Manager
The Opportunity
Adobe’s central security team partners closely with product teams across the company to ensure that we are consistently meeting a high security bar. We build these relationships with a strong technical foundation in both security and software that brings business value to each of our interactions with product teams. Our security partners are skilled at navigating strategic conversations with a range of people including senior leadership, product management, and software engineers.
As the Director, Security Partnerships you will lead Adobe’s global security partner organization. You and your team will find the most important security problems across all of Adobe and collaborate across the business to solve the problems. You will set the strategic direction for the organization with a focus on risk reduction at scale by connecting security experts to the right problems at the right times. You will implement this vision and work closely with VPs and Directors across Adobe to ensure that security is meeting the needs of each business area.
What you’ll do
• Develop a hard working organization that will work closely with Adobe corporate and product teams to identify and address security risks:
• Security Culture: You and your team will set the tone for our security culture throughout Adobe. This will be critical to scaling our overall security program. We seek to enable the business by making it as easy as possible to get the right security outcomes. Your role will be to lead by example in exhibiting this culture and in how you mentor your team.
• Product Security: Working across the Adobe product portfolio your organization will identify systemic and localized risks, prioritize where we need to invest, and work closely with software engineering teams to properly address each issue. Adobe’s product portfolio is large and includes desktop software, cloud services, and mobile applications.
• Corporate Security: In addition to product security, your team will partner with the business on corporate projects including endpoints, cloud infrastructure, internal tooling, and more.
• Metrics & Visibility: As the owner of security’s relationships across Adobe, your team will also own telling the story of how well each business unit is doing to meet our security bar. You will lead the way for your team with your executive communication and storytelling skills. This narrative will be backed by metrics from your team and peer security teams and you will need to work to develop these metrics to tell the stories that will motivate the right security outcomes for the business.
What you’ll need to succeed
• 10+ years in Information Security, most of which in a complex, global organization
• 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in application and/or product security
• 3+ years in working in a security partnership role where you influenced security outcomes outside of the security organization
• Ability to build strong rapport with business leaders, engineering leaders and customers
• Be an expert on product security, and be able to explain technical concepts in understandable ways to business leadership and our customers
• Successful track record growing talent and building hard working security teams
• Strong problem-solving skills, analytical capability and a pragmatic approach to business
• Skilled in telling deeply technical security stories to senior leaders using metrics
• Strong executive-level communications skills
• Comfort with ambiguity

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $166,300 — $337,900 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
