Job Summary:The Director of Regional Operations provides business line leadership, direction, decision-making, and oversight for Jubilant Radiopharma pharmacies in a designated geographic area. This individual is responsible for directing pharmacy managers across the region to achieve operational and profit objectives while maintaining sound healthcare management practices in alignment with Jubilant Radiopharma’s values. Key areas of focus include operational efficiency, strategic planning, facility investment approval, pharmacy practice models, workflow standardization, technology utilization, management reporting systems, and coordination of quality, risk management, customer retention, and customer service programs.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
• Oversight of Operations:Direct the efforts of pharmacy managers and pharmacy operations across the designated region.
• Corporate Alignment:Convey corporate goals and strategies, ensuring compliance with initiatives, policies, procedures, and programs.
• Budget Management:Influence operating and capital budgets, monitor performance against plans, and make necessary adjustments.
• Safety and Regulatory Compliance:Monitor safety and regulatory programs, analyze reporting documentation, and develop solutions.
• Customer Retention:Collaborate with VP, Sales & Operations, pharmacy managers, and sales directors to retain existing customer base.
• Service Standards:Implement and monitor service standards, customer relations, and recovery efforts.
• Strategic Vision:Develop pharmacy program vision and strategy, aligning performance goals and adjusting initiatives as needed.
• Best Practices:Promote adoption of best practices, innovations, and technology to improve pharmacy service and productivity.
• Compliance Leadership:Ensure compliance with pharmacy law, regulations, accreditation standards, and company policies.
• Staffing and Development:Determine staffing levels, interview, select, and develop team members.
• Participation:Engage in meetings and work groups to integrate activities and stay informed about developments.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy (preferred)
• Board certification in nuclear pharmacy (BCNP) preferred
• 3–5 years of experience in managing pharmacy operations at the area/regional level, overseeing teams of 5–15 direct reports
• Successful completion of company background check and pre-employment drug test
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a vehicle
• Demonstrated leadership skills in motivating team members and meeting performance goals
