We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Organizational Effectiveness to join the DICK’S Sporting Goods People & Purpose Team. As the Director you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our organizational efficiency and effectiveness. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize processes, improve productivity, and drive positive change across all departments. Job Duties & Responsibilities:
• Design future-proof, agile, and resilient enterprise and functional operating models that embrace the future of work and new skills.
• Devise and implement plans to build a stronger organizational effectiveness capability across the enterprise.
• Lead large project teams and/or highly complex engagements from start to finish, managing both internal and external relationships, issues, and risks.
• Analyze data and identify trends and organizational gaps to support changes to programs for process improvement.
• Coach and mentor HR Business Partners on OE discipline and tools.
• Consult with HR Business Partners and the business to frame complex and often unique problems by diagnosing performance gaps related to people, processes, structures, and overall culture and engagement.
• Become a trusted advisor and thought leader within DICK’S Sporting Goods and stay current on trends and innovations in your areas of expertise.
• Maintain current knowledge of advances in Organizational Effectiveness, Change Management, Employee Engagement and Behavior Shaping methodologies and apply leading edge methods and practices to improve enterprise organizational effectiveness capabilities.
• Define measures of success and effectively monitor effectiveness of solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Development, IO, or related field strongly preferred.
• 10-15 years total experience with a minimum of 12 years of experience in Organization Strategy, Operating Model Strategy and Design.
• Proven experience in a leadership role focused on organizational design and change management.
• Certification in Change Management or Organizational Development is a plus.
