he Director of Sales, Category Lead will play a critical role in accelerating the growth of our advertising sales team, with a focus on driving digital revenue through the management of sales across our portfolio of ad products, including, but not limited to: programmatic, display, sponsorship/social, custom content, audio, and short form video. The Director of Sales, Category Lead is responsible for acting as a partnership leader between One Roof Lowe’s Media Network, other internal Lowe’s teams, media agencies, DSPs, and advertisers.
The Director of Sales, Category Lead will leverage an in-depth knowledge of the digital and programmatic ecosystem along with strong organizational, analytical and project management skills to identify sales opportunities for account growth while providing exceptional client service. In this role, you will work closely with VP’s to maximize revenue for Lowe’s.
What you will do
• Focus on a designated category by driving advertising sales growth through building and leading strategic plans for cultivating partnerships and identifying & pitching new business opportunities with Lowe’s existing brand partners
• Build category and client account plans that understand client needs, identify opportunities to develop creative solutions, and leverage in-depth data analysis to form and deliver actionable recommendations for both short- and long-term advertising strategy for clients that encompass both paid media and shopper marketing budgets
• Partner with the Lowe’s Merchant organization to drive overall client sales and engagement with Lowe’s, inclusive of Lowe’s One Roof Media Network along with larger Lowe’s objectives
• Craft and deliver compelling sales presentations and execute sales calls with agency planning/buying groups and clients to secure business
• Provide pipeline analysis to track sales opportunities against quarterly and annual goals
• Become a knowledgeable partner and advocate for Lowe’s Advertising solutions, both internally and within the advertising marketplace
• Own, manage, and develop relationships with clients and agencies through routine communication; actively grow industry relationships to gain marketplace intelligence
• Manage accounts from pre-sale pipeline through post-sale analysis
• Educate advertisers on performance metrics, insights, and how to drive greater results
• This position manages/supervises people
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Marketing, Advertising, Statistics, Engineering or Business
• 9 Years Progressive experience in omni-channel advertising sales, digital advertising (display, video, CTV, search, social), and experiential marketing
• 3 Years Experience with programmatic strategies and data sales
• 2 Years Sales team management experience, including financial tracking and team goal setting, people development, and sales operational excellence
• Strong financial rigor for exceeding revenue goals for the team
• Extensive knowledge of the digital media environment, advertising and marketing trends, and the technology & agency landscape
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects and tight deadlines
• Excellent organizational, relationship-building, and communication (written and verbal) skills
• Well-versed in the Microsoft Office suite (Excel and PowerPoint)

Pay Range: $133,400.00 – $222,500.00 annually
