Position Function: Coordinate and maintain a program which protects the integrity of Ball State University through compliance with NCAA, Mid-American Conference, and university regulations by student-athletes, coaches, Ball State University employees, and representatives of Ball State University’s athletic interests.
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Minimum Experience: Two years of experience in NCAA Division I compliance.
Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Preferred Education: Master’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Preferred Experience: Three to five years of experience in NCAA Division I compliance.
Preferred Other: Excellent written and oral communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills; working knowledge of NCAA programs/applications; working knowledge of software systems such as ARMS, Banner, and Compliance Assistant; Excellent organizational skills; Ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced and demanding environment; Knowledge and familiarity with current and interim NCAA Division I policies and rules, interpretations and education columns.
