The Director of Global Marketing for HIV – Daily Treatment Pipeline Marketing Strategy Lead will play a pivotal role in supporting the Executive Director, Global Marketing for HIV – Daily Treatment Programs in driving the global commercial success of our HIV daily treatment portfolio and making a significant impact on the lives of people living with HIV worldwide. In this important position, you will be responsible for leading the development of a comprehensive marketing strategy for our daily pipeline asset medications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to lead and execute a best-in-class launch as the cornerstone of our our Company’ HIV pipeline, aiming to regain a leadership position in the highly competitive HIV market. This role offers high visibility within the fast-growing HIV franchise and strong potential for professional development and growth.
HIV continues to significantly affect more than 38 million individuals worldwide, with over 1.5 million new infections occurring each year. The progress of medical advancements has transformed HIV from a once-deadly sentence to a manageable chronic disease. However, as people with HIV age, the risk of developing comorbidities increases, and they are exposed to antiretroviral treatment for extended periods of time. To address these challenges, innovation is crucial to alleviate the burden of HIV on individuals, communities, and societies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop comprehensive L3 NEXT global strategy for DOR/ISL, working in close coordination with cross-functional team, regions and markets to build strategy and ensure the execution of a successful launch.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and markets to align marketing strategies with overall business objectives and plans.
• Cultivate strong relationships with country teams to enhance global marketing strategies.
• Partner with market research to ensure robust customer insights inform strategic choices.
• Serve as marketing point of contact for policy, pricing and access for a medication
• Collaborate with marketing team members, HHDDA, and promotional team to ensure strategy is powered by data and analytics, and ties to promotional launch assets and digital efforts.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and market dynamics to identify opportunities for improvement, innovation, and competitive advantage.
Position Qualifications:
• Minimum Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree
• Preferred Education: Advanced Degree (MBA)
Required Experience and Skills:
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing, business consulting, or related roles, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
• Strong marketing proficiency, with a proven ability to understand customer insights, data and analytics and synthesize to drive strategic decisions.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex information and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing sophisticated marketing strategies that deliver measurable business results.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and lead by influence.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
• HIV experience
• Ability to challenge the status quo and drive initiatives forward.
Travel:
• Approximately 20% of the time

U.S. Hybrid Work Model
Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, generally Tuesday, Wednesday and either Monday or Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence. This Hybrid work model does not apply to, and daily in-person attendance is required for, field-based positions; facility-based, manufacturing-based, or research-based positions where the work to be performed is located at a Company site; positions covered by a collective-bargaining agreement (unless the agreement provides for hybrid work); or any other position for which the Company has determined the job requirements cannot be reasonably met working remotely. Under New York State, Colorado State, Washington State, and California State law, the Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education.
Expected salary range:
$181,600.00 – $285,800.00
