Overview
Job Summary:
Responsible for overseeing the dining room during service hours, handle customer complaints and concerns, supervise staff behaviors, and ensure completion of all employee tasks takes place. Responsible for assisting with 5-star dining training of all servers and upholding 5 star standards at all times. Oversees all catered events to accurate set up, proper service and timely breakdown. Must be able to handle multiple catering events at once while still maintaining proper level of service in all the dining rooms.
Job Requirements:
Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
Must have supervised a minimal staff of 10 people for at least one continuous year or must have completed one year of service at Carlyle Place or have 2 years previous experience in all front of house positions.
Must be familiar with styles of service (banquet, table-side, family style, etc.). Must be capable of training personnel in all front-of-house duties. Must familiar in scheduling, training, evaluating and interviewing of personnel. Must possess excellence in customer service.
