The role you’ll contribute:
The Digital Content Strategist will oversee daily operations of AdventHealth’s digital content management from curation to production to execution for various online outlets. The core responsibility is to ensure the successful execution of a company-wide digital editorial calendar by providing structure and process to make content more efficient while delivering digital engagement. They also serve as liaison between multiple stakeholders and local teams across the system.
The strategist will help ensure that policies and procedures are in place and is responsible for developing best practices for digital execution, monitoring, and driving results. Creates topical recommendations, article outlines, and optimized content to capitalize on opportunities identified by performing keyword research, competitor analysis, trending news and other types of content analysis.
This role is cross-functional as it works closely with AdventHealth facilities systemwide. Candidates should be passionate about digital content, journalism, facts and storytelling. Should be highly motivated, deadline driven, and creative.

· Plan, manage, and deploy digital content priorities
· Oversee daily execution of digital content editorial calendar.
· Actively participate in regular newsroom and editorial meeting with regional partners and stakeholders
· Communicate updates on ongoing projects, outstanding questions/requests, while raising concerns on projects that could impact the digital team or priorities.
· Identify issues, manage stakeholder expectations, and offer recommendations for creative solutions or workarounds based on knowledge of priorities, development roadmap, and contributing factors.
· Continually stays current on digital best practices and techniques for creating effective and engaging web content.
· Develop an overall project view with an eye on critical priorities to help move projects along and mitigate issues whenever appropriate.
· Provide content solutions and execution for various stakeholders’ goals.
· Maintain constant communication with clients and have a firm understanding of their initiatives.
· Utilize strong analytical skills to evaluate analytics across multiple channels.
· Monitor and generate content reports to determine best practices.
· Provide on-going proactive learning and optimization opportunities for team members by actively using analytical tools.
· Displays high competency in project management, working in a fast-paced and complex environment, execution of large projects, and working under multiple and competing deadlines.
· Collaborates with leadership across the organization to manage the strategic planning, implementation, analysis, and optimization of content for all digital marketing channels and campaigns.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED :
· Windows Applications: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
· Proficient in social media and content management systems.
· Proficient in appropriate job related software/systems.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PREFERRED:
· Collaborate with local markets to maximize content opportunities across digital storytelling experience
· Partner with web team to implement user experience improvements
· Optimize content for SEO, including H1s, alt tags, metadata descriptions
· Understanding of Associated Press style writing
· Pursue and manage content syndication on news aggregation platforms (Apple News, Google News, Microsoft News, etc.)
· Strong understanding of website content management systems (Drupal preferred) and web best practices for creation, publishing and optimization of blogs, forums, landing pages, and search engine optimization (SEO)
· Media relations and corporate communications skills
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or English and 4-7 years of experience in Content Marketing or Digital Marketing.
